Arrived last night in Villefranche s/S efter 175 km of biking fron Dijon. A brilliant route took me here, sunday afternoon, not too much traffic and with plenty of cheese, sausage and a loaf of bread that made my heart melt, that is life at it’s finest.

Lunch
My appetite for food has always been well known in my family, though, now it has reached certain extremes. I start the day by getting myself kitted with various dairy products, cheese and butter, often a good heap of it. I proceed to the boulangeri to pick up some interesting bread, sometimes baguette and other times the whole grain kind.
I try to find a spot in a town where I can get a view over the action, looking at people leading their lifes is a passtime favourite of mine, and I arrange my Lunch in my lap and I eat. If I had appetite before, I’m a monster now, but I try to eat with maners and I try to look innocent at times to not attract too much attention.
well, at the end of the day, if have done some 10 hours of biking, which happens, then I will need some 6000 kcal, that is not quite easy to get into the system, I promise you that! The solution – bike less.
On the whole it is not difficult to enjoy France, the people are friendly, the food is good and the sigthseeing, if just plain countryside is magnifique! Tonight I have been invited to a reunion with the local Rotary club in Villefranche s/ S and as I understood they are running some very interesting projects in Haiti, hope to find out more about that.
I was given a very nice sign by www.skyltstallet.se, I put it on my bike, looks very pro now!
